It is a substance that is safe, non-toxic, soluble in water and non-flammable as well as has strong cohesion, high hydrolytic stability and chlorine resistance, and it will not coagulate and is insensitive to changes in pH value. The freezing point is about -2.8°C; the specific gravity is about 1.04g/cm, and the decomposition temperature is 280–300°C.
